A new thermoplastic polymer HYOSUNG POKETONE™ is a family of semi-crystalline aliphatic polyketone, made of carbon monoxide (CO) and olefins. After developing proprietary technologies, Hyosung Chemical Corporation is producing POK in the 50,000 tons annually from commercial plant located in Yongyeon, Ulsan, Korea. POKETONE™, the world's first commercialized polyketone, is non-toxic and eco-friendly polymers that is FDA and NSF approved. It exhibits excellent chemical resistance, excellent toughness, and abrasion resistance. With its balanced properties, POKETONE™ is widely used in markets such as automotive, water meter, water purifier, toys, medical devices, pipes, films, gears, rollers, cosmetic cases, food contact applications, etc.
