The trade show will see over 4,500 superior plastics and rubber suppliers from 39 countries and regions, more than 3,800 cutting-edge machine exhibits, and over 1,600 raw material suppliers. The exhibition not only releases industry breakthroughs of more than 120 global/Asian debut technology projects, but also brings a large number of innovative, effective and cost-effective landing solutions for plastics and rubber production. It is worth mentioning that among the 4,500+ global exhibitors, there are more than 980 "Shining Niche" companies, out of which 260 are national “Little Giant” companies, fully demonstrating the power of “High-end Technology, Made in China”.

Over 4,500 plastics and rubber suppliers shined on the stage of innovation with cutting-edge technologies.

The “innoGreen Hub”, one of the concurrent events, is held for the first time. Focusing on high quality production of automotive, electronics and electric, medical and packaging applications, this event showcases cutting-edge injection molding production line, and explores in depth innovative design, research and development of materials, as well as inventive applications behind. “SportsTech Chic + Green”, another debut concurrent event, concentrates on sports and leisure industries, integrating sports, fashion as well as plastics and rubber technologies. The event also dives into how sustainable and effective plastics and rubber materials, and inventive technologies foster the trend of sporty chic. At “Applications in Focus”, 6 thematic forums will be hosted, featuring over 40 hot topics including recyclable medical packaging, cost reduction strategies and efficiency improvements in electronic and electrical industries, and emerging trends in packaging for chain restaurants, offering valuable insights and opportunities to participants.

Innovation Drives Productivity

Innovation in the plastics and rubber industries plays a pivotal role in booming development of new fields. In this exhibition, numerous inventive solutions breaking through boundaries of downstream applications are showcased. For example, PEEK that helps reduce weight of humanoid robot joints, thus improving durability and life; PPA promotes humanoid robot bones' lightweight, heat and deformation resistance; carbon fiber composite materials slims down body of small unmanned aircrafts and structure of flight vehicles, single-walled carbon nanotubes with high flexibility and high conductivity that can be applied to fields like lithium-ion batteries, super capacitors and aerospace materials.

Continuous broadening of applications for the plastics and rubber industries cultivates imagination and business opportunities. Thermoplastic composite materials like PC and PPS can realize lightweight automotive battery boxes and motors; PPA with excellent heat resistant properties can be used in new energy vehicles components under extreme temperatures; with high heat resistance, the medical-grade transparent polypropylene can be used in medical supplies for steam sterilization; peelable PP film can replace aluminum foil to reduce carbon emissions and production costs; high-performance films designed for single-material recyclable packaging help reduce carbon emissions; stretch blow molding can produce light and durable packaging containers.

Innovative plastics and rubber solutions at the show caught visitors' eyeballs.

A series of concurrent talks and interactive activities further ignite participants' inspiration. The 3rd SciXplore Forum has invited renowned scientists and experts including Academician Zhengdi CHENG, Academician Benzhong TANG, Academician Liqun ZHANG, Academician Seeram RAMAKRISHNA, Professor Kohzo ITO and Professor Ping GAO to share their reports and views on the future development and breakthrough achievements of polymer industry. Panel discussion featuring the topic of AI × Green Transformation × Low-Altitude Economy - "Boundary-Breaking Revolution" of Polymer Materials will be held. Meanwhile, more than 40 latest cutting-edge technologies will be released at Tech Talk, covering six themes - Efficient Packaging Solutions, Green Low-carbon Solutions, Automotive Lightweighting Solutions, Rubber & TPE Technologies, 2025 New Materials and 3D Printing. Moreover, “Product Innovation Gallery”, with "From Products to Technology. From Technology to Products" as its theme, showcases more than 200 unique products, providing inspiration for visitors and facilitating their connection with ideal suppliers.

Stellar Exhibits, Green and Digitalization Lead the Way in Drawing High Quality Global Buyers

As the manufacturing industry develops in the trend of high-end, intelligent and green evolution, a large number of green solutions have emerged at the trade fair. For example, biomass balance products that significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions; plastic molding solutions which keep increasing the content of renewable raw materials; rPET Solid State Polymerization Machine Line effectively increases the molecular weight of rPET particles without compromising the material's properties, ensuring performance of applications to the recycling industry; the waste plastics for the production of chemically recycled polypropylene are completely traceable and sustainable. Meanwhile, digital solutions and AI-upgraded machinery and systems will be unveiled simultaneously - precision extrusion lines integrated with IoT technology, recycling and regeneration systems enhanced with artificial intelligence, intelligent dehumidification dryers and more, opening up new paths for high-quality development of plastics and rubber.

A series of concurrent activities have been being organized surrounding circular economy. “Plastics Recycling & Circular Economy Conference and Showcase” was hosted a day prior to the opening of exhibition (April 14), where more than 800 industry elites gathered together, discussing the global plastics economy and recycling with the experts and leaders of renowned enterprises of the industry. “Sustainable Plastic Packaging Forum” explores the sustainability of plastic packaging from an international perspective and releases the latest solutions at the show. "The Plastics Circularity Journey" Production Line Live Demo is also available, where prominent suppliers join hands in demonstrating the entire process of food-grade PET and PE high-quality recycling, presenting how high-value utilization is realized and achieved on-site.

Plastics Recycling & Circular Economy Conference and Showcase successfully wrapped up, attracting more than 800 industry elites.

On the fourth day of the exhibition, “Market Insights Hub” will hold 3 thematic forums on hot topics covering strategy for RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) and global market expansion, insights report of new productive forces, as well as ESG and sustainable supply chain. To construct a cooperative platform between exhibitors and renowned institutions, CHINAPLAS will also bring traditional campus recruitment to the event with Development Day for Campus Elites - Connecting Enterprises with Future Talent Face-to-Face, facilitating efficient and precise matching between plastics and rubber enterprises and top graduates.

With high-quality solutions, products and events, the show attracts international buyers from around the world. Buyers from about 150 countries and regions have numerous opportunities to explore the collaboration with suppliers and experts across 19 halls. Internationalization of the exhibition continues to rise as the proportion of overseas buyers is expected to exceed 20%.
